It's a hard road, but can I really do it?

Here it is, my first blog entry.  I've been thinking about doing this for months now and now here I am, writing about my road to something that I've been wanting to do for years.  I don't know the exact day that I decided that I wanted to become a voice over artist but what I do know is it's a passion that's burning inside of me.

Why am I doing this?

First I want to track everything that I do.  This way if something fails, I'll know exactly what happened and I'll be able to pinpoint where it happened.  Second, in the event that someone asks me how I did it, I'll be able to show them everything that I've done.  I started to ask around a few months back and some people gave me good advice and saved me from mistakes that could have hurt me.  Others, well they weren't so helpful and I wasn't sure if it's because they couldn't remember what they've done or they didn't want to help me because the field is competitive?  I hope that it isn't the latter because some of those people were my friends and that would hurt.

My next entry will feature some information about me.  I guess that if you all are going to follow me, then you should know some information about me, right?
